Demetrio Massaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Costa in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Costa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Massaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferruccio Piccoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigio Donnarumma having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Fulvio Verdini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Massaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ferdinando Di Natale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigio Donnarumma having to interfere. Demetrio Massaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Verdini in the 22nd minute of the match. Douglas Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demetrio Massaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Verdini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USS Enterprise's Douglas Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Verdini in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Massaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Douglas Costa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the USS Enterprise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Costa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Costa in the 39th minute of play forced Devil Gold F.C's goalkeeper Demetrio Massaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Demetrio Massaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Fulvio Verdini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Massaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half USS Enterprise were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fulvio Verdini took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Demetrio Massaro to make any attempt to save it. Devil Gold F.C's Demetrio Massaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Verdini in the 57th minute of play. Fulvio Verdini was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Costa got free with Demetrio Massaro in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulvio Verdini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demetrio Massaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Fulvio Verdini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Demetrio Massaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Verdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Massaro having to interfere. Demetrio Massaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Verdini in the 80th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Fulvio Verdini took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Demetrio Massaro to make any attempt to save it. Demetrio Massaro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eraldo Brandini. Fulvio Verdini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Demetrio Massaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devil Gold F.C's Demetrio Massaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Devil Gold F.C from getting a goal against them. If Douglas Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Devil Gold F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USS Enterprise were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
