Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferruccio Piccoli kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Fausto Zoff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devil Gold F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villanova Di Denore the free kick. The supporters of Villanova Di Denore booed when Devil Gold F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Zoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Devil Gold F.C's zone, Ennio Sorge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Massaro came out of the goal and Ennio Sorge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demetrio Massaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Sorge in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Devil Gold F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Di Natale. Villanova Di Denore's Cosimo Mandelli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Devil Gold F.C. Attilio Ciapponi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Attilio Ciapponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Sorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Devil Gold F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Zoff to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Zoff kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Attilio Ciapponi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Ciapponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Demetrio Massaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Attilio Ciapponi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Massaro. Devil Gold F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Ciapponi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Devil Gold F.C's Filippo Beattie got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ferruccio Piccoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Ali having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Attilio Ciapponi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Massaro. Devil Gold F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Ciapponi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 61 minutes into the game, Attilio Ciapponi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Demetrio Massaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 played minutes Villanova Di Denore got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Melis. Ferruccio Piccoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Filippo Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devil Gold F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Beattie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Piccoli in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Ali saved Villanova Di Denore from getting behind. The supporters of Devil Gold F.C booed when Villanova Di Denore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Marcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Piccoli struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Carter Ali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devil Gold F.C. Devil Gold F.C's Demetrio Massaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Sorge in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Devil Gold F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Sorge came free, but Demetrio Massaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Piccoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Ali was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Attilio Ciapponi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Demetrio Massaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Villanova Di Denore's Carter Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Piccoli in the 93rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ferruccio Piccoli sped through Villanova Di Denore's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Ali. The Devil Gold F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Villanova Di Denore's performance. The match ended with a win for Villanova Di Denore.
