Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Stanga's Ennio Lucente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Franzioni in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Stanga's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Ali came free, but Ennio Lucente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Bertolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brarola AFC's Cesare Colantoni suffered a sprained foot after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Filippo Giordani's late challenge caught a Brarola AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo Giordani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stanga's Filippo Giordani got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stanga's zone, Daniele Talone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Lucente came out of the goal and Daniele Talone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Dave Ciapponi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Franzioni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ennio Lucente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Cristiano Franzioni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brarola AFC and the Stanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brarola AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristiano Franzioni hit a great ball. Anfilogino Guerriero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Bertolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Guerriero came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Stanga's Alfonso Vago. But to his dismay, Alfonso Vago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Brarola AFC's Anfilogino Guerriero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Brarola AFC from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Franzioni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brarola AFC's zone, Alfonso Vago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Guerriero came out of the goal and Alfonso Vago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfonso Vago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Eugenio Bertolini made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Vago in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anfilogino Guerriero saved Brarola AFC from getting behind. Anfilogino Guerriero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bertolini in the 53rd minute of the match. When Stanga's Alfonso Vago in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brarola AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dave Ciapponi charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Ciapponi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stanga's Dave Ciapponi got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Cristiano Franzioni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Brarola AFC's Alexander Gagliano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ennio Lucente. That made the score 2-1 after 63 minutes of play. Brarola AFC's Anfilogino Guerriero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Vago in the 68th minute of play. Eugenio Bertolini took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anfilogino Guerriero. Anfilogino Guerriero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Anfilogino Guerriero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Vago's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Eugenio Bertolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Guerriero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brarola AFC booed when Stanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Ciapponi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Bertolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Guerriero having to interfere. Stanga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
