Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelio Ferraro started the match with the kick off. Bruno Scarpa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Dionisi went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in SUPERGE's zone, Edoardo Papa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferruccio Andreassi came out of the goal and Edoardo Papa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edoardo Papa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Andreassi having to interfere. Ferruccio Andreassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Ferraro in the 18th minute of the match. Ferruccio Andreassi came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Gorizia's Dennis Tabacco. But to his dismay, Dennis Tabacco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ercole Petito's late challenge caught a Gorizia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercole Petito helped the player get up and apologised. Ercole Petito kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to SUPERGE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Anselmo Pesce hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Aurelio Ferraro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ferruccio Andreassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Paris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bruno Scarpa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Paris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Scarpa having to make a save. If Aurelio Ferraro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Gorizia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Paris made a kick off. Ernesto Paris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Scarpa having to interfere. Edoardo Papa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ferruccio Andreassi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dennis Tabacco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Edoardo Papa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Andreassi having to interfere. The supporters of SUPERGE booed when Gorizia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Tabacco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gorizia's zone, Ernesto Paris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Scarpa came out of the goal and Ernesto Paris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SUPERGE's Ferruccio Andreassi got control of the ball when Edoardo Papa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferruccio Andreassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Ferraro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Papa got free with Ferruccio Andreassi in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, SUPERGE's goalkeeper Ferruccio Andreassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edoardo Papa. The Gorizia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
