The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Aurelio Toninelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sopramonte AFC's Alberto Allemandi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferdinando Burgnich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alberto Allemandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Dario Fiori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Manzoli in the 17th minute of play forced Osasugna's goalkeeper Concetto Di Lello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Lizzi's late challenge caught a Sopramonte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Lizzi helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Osasugna got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Lizzi. After 22 played minutes Sopramonte AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Brambilla. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aurelio Toninelli sped through Sopramonte AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Allemandi. After having played for 28 minutes, Aurelio Toninelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osasugna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Toninelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Ferdinando Burgnich made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Allemandi. Sopramonte AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Toninelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Allemandi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Domenico Petruzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Osasugna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amos Manzoli to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Claudio De Toni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sopramonte AFC and the Osasugna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudio De Toni kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Aurelio Toninelli made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Allemandi. Sopramonte AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Aurelio Toninelli was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 79 minutes, Aurelio Toninelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osasugna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Toninelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osasugna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
