With an all-out effort, S.P.Acerrana's Frank Antonioni threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florian Minotti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, S.P.Acerrana's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Minati came free, but Alex Rocchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Minotti in the 31st minute of play forced Selvicis Calcio's goalkeeper Frank Antonioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Rocco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Frank Antonioni made a huge save. Selvicis Calcio's Frank Antonioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Minotti in the 36th minute of play. If Francesco Rocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniele Genovesi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Genovesi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniele Genovesi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Florian Minotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Selvicis Calcio's Frank Antonioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Selvicis Calcio from getting a goal against them. If Florian Minotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Francesco Rocco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Antonioni having to interfere. Roque Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, S.P.Acerrana's Alex Rocchetti got control of the ball when Comunardo Nardone tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Carter Fanfarone put in a rough tackle. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.P.Acerrana! Alex Rocchetti had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Comunardo Nardone's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frank Antonioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Pezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Minotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Scandella got free with Alex Rocchetti in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniele Genovesi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Rocchetti. That made the score 1-1 in the 78 minute of play. Alvise Alba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Armando Spagnuolo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selvicis Calcio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.P.Acerrana the free kick. Angelo Romino walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. S.P.Acerrana's Enzo Di Clemente was substituted for Florian Minotti. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Enzo Di Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.P.Acerrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Di Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Antonioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Antonioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia De Lucia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enzo Di Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
