With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davide Alfieri in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Antonioni saved Selvicis Calcio from getting behind. Frank Antonioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Giammaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carmine Giammaria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Antonioni was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. If Davide Alfieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marinasco AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marinasco AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
