Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ennio Centofanti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pioppa FC's Diego Addario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Pioppa FC from getting a goal against them. Francesco Giannico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Carafa having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Francesco Giannico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pioppa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Giannico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francesco Giannico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Addario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Brambilla in the 23rd minute of play. Francesco Giannico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Armando Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Baggio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Proraso F.C. booed when Pioppa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Fortuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Spada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Fabrizio Di Leonardo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Proraso F.C.'s Armando Carafa didn't even have to move. A collision led to Pioppa FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Flavio Zangari hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Proraso F.C.'s Christian Limitone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Francesco Giannico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Armando Carafa made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Francesco Giannico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pioppa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Giannico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Carafa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Giannico came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armando Carafa could save by the left post. Francesco Giannico might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Carafa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Giannico ran back to his position shaking his head. Francesco Giannico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Armando Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ennio Centofanti came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Pioppa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Centofanti couldn't finish the play. Christian Limitone kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Pioppa FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Zangari. Despite being the better team, Pioppa FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
