Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felice Di Dio made the kick off which started today's match. Fabio Tarquini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Corvo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabio Tarquini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Chiarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Di Dio in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Felice Di Dio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Chiarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Calafuria's zone, Fabio Tarquini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Corvo came out of the goal and Fabio Tarquini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Copparo's Donato Chiarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Lo Iacono in the 23rd minute of play. The referee gave Calafuria a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carmine Fantauzzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Copparo's Donato Chiarelli. 0-1. Domenico Lo Iacono struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Donato Chiarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafuria. Felice Di Dio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felice Di Dio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Chiarelli saved Copparo from getting behind. Fabio Tarquini struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristiano Corvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copparo. Attilio Di Giacomo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Corvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Calafuria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Tarquini to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Attilio Di Giacomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Corvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Copparo's Attilio Di Giacomo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Copparo booed when Calafuria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Di Gennaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Attilio Di Giacomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Tarquini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Corvo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Felice Di Dio took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Donato Chiarelli to make any attempt to save it. Domenico Lo Iacono struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Donato Chiarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafuria. Calafuria were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Copparo's much stronger midfield.
