Daniele Ascoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Donato Chiarelli made a huge save. The supporters of Milano Marittima booed when Copparo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Barbanti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Chiarelli made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Daniele Ascoli sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Donato Minotti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Chiarelli, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Copparo's zone, Antonello Berti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Chiarelli came out of the goal and Antonello Berti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Ascoli didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 20th minute. Milano Marittima's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Enzo Zola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Tarquini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Milano Marittima getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Andrea Costantino hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Milano Marittima's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Di Giacomo came free, but Enzo Zola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Barbanti charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Barbanti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Milano Marittima made a substitution. Alex Scotti replaced Dave Pace. A collision led to Copparo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Andrea Barbanti hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Donato Minotti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Donato Chiarelli, passed just outside the right post. Cosimo Sammartino hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Tarquini in the 38th minute of play forced Milano Marittima's goalkeeper Enzo Zola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ferdinando De Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copparo's protests and gave Ferdinando De Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Milano Marittima got a penalty, and Andrea Costantino placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Milano Marittima getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Andrea Catapano hit a great ball. Donato Minotti's late challenge caught a Copparo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Minotti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Milano Marittima's Donato Minotti got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Daniele Ascoli took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Chiarelli. Donato Chiarelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 59th minute Daniele Ascoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Chiarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Zola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Tarquini in the 63rd minute of the match. Donato Chiarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Ascoli in the 66th minute of play. Donato Minotti struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Donato Chiarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milano Marittima. Enzo Zola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Di Giacomo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Donato Minotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Donato Chiarelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniele Ascoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Chiarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniele Ascoli ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Alexander Mosca in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Milano Marittima's Andrea Catapano. Donato Chiarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Minotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Donato Minotti succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 90th match minute, Milano Marittima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Costantino to maneuver through the defense. Donato Chiarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Ascoli's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Donato Minotti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copparo's Donato Chiarelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milano Marittima walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
