After a defensive mix-up in Casalotti's zone, Cristoforo Galliani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Puddu came out of the goal and Cristoforo Galliani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Puddu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Galliani in the 15th minute. Armin Matteucci hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermanno Cameli in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Puddu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermanno Cameli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Ermanno Cameli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Casalotti's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Cameli came free, but Cristiano Puddu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Rainuzzi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Alessandrini to maneuver through the defense. When Casalotti's Eraldo Pensa, in the 49th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Casalotti. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Casalotti booed when Rainuzzi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Di Massimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Cristoforo Galliani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casalotti's Cristiano Puddu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eraldo Pensa took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Della Torre. Alexander Della Torre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Casalotti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
