Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Fortunato Rulli came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ceglie Del Campo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Rulli couldn't finish the play. Briavacca's Ferdinando Gregori got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ferdinando Gregori came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Briavacca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Gregori couldn't finish the play. Fortunato Rulli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Ceglie Del Campo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Enzo Corelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Morini having to interfere. In the 24th minute Fortunato Rulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Dario Conti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Briavacca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceglie Del Campo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Briavacca's Dario Conti got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fortunato Rulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Enrico Morini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Dario Conti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Briavacca's Alvise Gazza got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th match minute, Briavacca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano De Matteis to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Morini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Rulli in the 39th minute of the match. Emilio Graziano might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Melfi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Graziano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Briavacca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fortunato Rulli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Gregori made a kick off. The supporters of Ceglie Del Campo booed when Briavacca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Gazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Morini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Corelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Enzo Corelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Morini having to interfere. Fortunato Rulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercole Lemme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Damiano Melfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ceglie Del Campo's Fortunato Rulli in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ferdinando Gregori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Melfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. If Ferdinando Gregori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ceglie Del Campo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Briavacca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
