If Alberigo De Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ancognano's Alberigo De Feo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Malagrotta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado De Palma to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Brunetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo De Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmine Maccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Anelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alberigo De Feo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bruno Brunetta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancognano. Corrado Marzoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Maccioni having to interfere. Cristiano Giorgio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Giorgio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Corrado Marzoli came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Malagrotta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Marzoli couldn't finish the play. Ancognano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Biagio Anelli 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alberigo De Feo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancognano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo De Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Brunetta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmine Maccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Anelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ancognano defense, Biagio Anelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmine Maccioni. The Ancognano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmine Maccioni should have stopped the shot. Corrado Marzoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Furia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Brunetta having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Ancognano got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Sansoni. Ancognano's Carmine Maccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Marzoli in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Alberigo De Feo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Brunetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Anelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carmine Maccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Ancognano's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Marzoli came free, but Carmine Maccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amedeo Furia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ancognano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Furia couldn't finish the play. Malagrotta FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ancognano for a fine match.
