Diego Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Liberatore having to interfere. Diego Silvestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Roncopascolo FC's Diego Silvestre in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alexander Liberatore was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Villata FC through an amazing save. Demetrio Marra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edoardo Savoia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Emiliano Petrella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Savoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Demetrio Marra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Rocco hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Roncopascolo FC's Diego Silvestre was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Villata FC's zone, Dennis Suriani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Liberatore came out of the goal and Dennis Suriani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Surianis short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Alexander Liberatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Petrella made a kick off. Diego Silvestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dennis Suriani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes in the game, Emiliano Petrella fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edoardo Savoia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Silvestre in the 69th minute of play forced Villata FC's goalkeeper Alexander Liberatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, one of Roncopascolo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
