Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciro Franceschi got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Ciro Franceschi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Riso. Ciro Franceschi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Anselmo Di Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Eugenio Santagata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Puce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Di Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dario Puce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Di Cintio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Augusto Riso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alberto Di Cintio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Santagata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Puce was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Dario Puce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Santagata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Costa booed when Cimirlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico De Sisti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Santagata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Spinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dario Puce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Santagata in the 38th minute of the match. Enrico De Sisti's late challenge caught a Costa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico De Sisti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cimirlo's Enrico De Sisti got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Anselmo Di Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Di Vito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Franceschi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Riso came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Franceschi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. If Ciro Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Di Vito to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Eugenio Santagata could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Dario Puce however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th match minute, Cimirlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico De Sisti to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Santagata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Di Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Puce having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Alberto Di Cintio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cimirlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eugenio Santagata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dario Puce made a huge save. After 69 minutes of play, Costa's Eugenio Santagata made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Puce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Franceschi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Riso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Corrado Crognale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa and the Cimirlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Corrado Crognale hit a great ball. Alberto Di Cintio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Riso having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Anselmo Di Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Puce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play Costa's Corrado Crognale was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Corrado Crognale kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Cimirlo's Alexander Schirone made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Riso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Eugenio Santagata fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dario Puce, passed just outside the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Costa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cimirlo.
