Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anselmo Di Vito started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Costa's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Gazza came free, but Augusto Riso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrico Mazzola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Anselmo Di Vito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edmondo Zinni to make any attempt to save it. Augusto Riso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Gazza in the 15th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Eraldo Zaccardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arbizzano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Arbizzano FC's Eraldo Zaccardi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Di Vito in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmondo Zinni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes, Anselmo Di Vito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa and the Arbizzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arbizzano FC booed when Costa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Di Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Riso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Gazza in the 37th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play Arbizzano FC's Eraldo Zaccardi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd minute, Carlo Bassi fired a really elegant long shot, but Edmondo Zinni threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Mazzola to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Santagata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Edmondo Zinni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa's Augusto Riso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Costa from getting a goal against them. Arbizzano FC's Enrico Mazzola got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Mazzola got free with Augusto Riso in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrico Mazzola in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Riso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Augusto Riso made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Enrico Mazzola sent off a good shot on target. Edmondo Zinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Santagata in the 73rd minute of play. Eugenio Santagata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Anselmo Di Vito notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Arbizzano FC's Edmondo Zinni. Edmondo Zinni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Eugenio Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Mazzola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Augusto Riso made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Bruno Tarulli had to leave the field with a concussion. After 87 played minutes Costa got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Giordano. If Anselmo Di Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Santagata scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmondo Zinni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Costa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arbizzano FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
