Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Fontanive got the match started through his kick off. Fedele Sammartino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Fontanive in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Saraceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Attilio Galliani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Saraceni having to interfere. With his leg Daniele Del Giudice managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Imperia's Concetto Imperiale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Boncellino getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adriano Beattie hit a great ball. Concetto Imperiale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Daniele Del Giudice made a huge save. After 22 played minutes Dennis De Francesco rounded Boncellino's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 24 played minutes Imperia got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Sammartino. Diego Fontanive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Donato Saraceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Galliani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Diego Fontanive got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Imperia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fortunato Ronca hit a great ball. Concetto Imperiale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniele Del Giudice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniele Del Giudice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis De Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Imperia's zone, Attilio Galliani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Saraceni came out of the goal and Attilio Galliani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Imperiale in the 55th minute of play forced Boncellino's goalkeeper Daniele Del Giudice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Imperia's Concetto Calabrese got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Diego Fontanive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th play minute Attilio Galliani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Donato Saraceni. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis De Francesco in the 71st minute of play forced Boncellino's goalkeeper Daniele Del Giudice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis De Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concetto Imperiale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Daniele Del Giudice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Imperiale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Del Giudice read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Imperia's Concetto Imperiale got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Dennis De Francesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniele Del Giudice was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 91 minutes, Diego Fontanive managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boncellino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Fontanive was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Imperia's Donato Saraceni got control of the ball when Attilio Galliani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Imperia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
