Bianco Pazienza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Marconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alberto Bernardini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ciro Caccia made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Monserrato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Di Fonzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Armando Lizzi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monserrato's Ciro Caccia didn't even have to move. 20 minutes into the match, Monserrato's goalkeeper Ciro Caccia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Bernardini. Monserrato's Ciro Caccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Teodori in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Marconi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Pazienza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Monserrato's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Biagio Teodori fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Bernardini got free with Ciro Caccia in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, Montecavolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Gazza to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Bianco Clemente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bianco Pazienza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The attack was good, but when Biagio Teodori in the 56th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 60 minutes into the game, Fulvio Marconi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bianco Pazienza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Ermanno Iannotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Fulvio Marconi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bianco Pazienza was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Montecavolo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Clemente came free, but Bianco Pazienza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
