Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damiano Guidoni started the match with the kick off. Attilio De Nardis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AFC's zone, Attilio De Nardis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Padula came out of the goal and Attilio De Nardis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessio Schiavo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eraldo Preda went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Armin Marinucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Padula having to interfere. Fabrizio Padula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Marinucci in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AFC's zone, Attilio De Nardis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Padula came out of the goal and Attilio De Nardis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Garbatella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Marinucci came free, but Fabrizio Padula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Formellino AFC's Attilio De Nardis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Padula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Armin Marinucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Armin Marinucci made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Padula. Garbatella AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Eraldo Preda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Formellino AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Marinucci made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Enzo Martorella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessio Schiavo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Alessio Schiavo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Preda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Formellino AFC's Alessio Schiavo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Preda in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garbatella AFC's Enzo Martorella got a free kick in the 58th minute. Carter Granata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrizio Padula. Garbatella AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfonso Losito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Armin Marinucci fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formellino AFC's protests and gave Armin Marinucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Formellino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Marinucci to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Preda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alessio Schiavo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Attilio De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Garbatella AFC's goalkeeper Fabrizio Padula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio De Nardis. In the 75th minute, Formellino AFC's Armin Marinucci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrizio Padula. Fabrizio Padula yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Ferruccio Monticelli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Eraldo Preda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Schiavo having to interfere. Alessio Schiavo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Guidoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Eraldo Preda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Garbatella AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Preda couldn't finish the play. Garbatella AFC's Eraldo Preda got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Formellino AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
