Augusto Pinti in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrea Bassi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 5 minutes into the game, Alfonso De Laurentiis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabiano Santini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Nardone's late challenge caught a Cerreto Alto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Nardone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Alfonso Nardone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Santini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso De Laurentiis in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Porro during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 18 minutes into the game, Antonio Gaudino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerreto Alto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C.N. 1926 the free kick. Alfonso De Laurentiis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso De Laurentiis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cerreto Alto's Antonio Gaudino in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.S.C.N. 1926's goalie prevented a goal. Fabiano Santini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso De Laurentiis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Antonio Gaudino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S.C.N. 1926's Fabiano Santini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Antonio Gaudino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerreto Alto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Gaudino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Cerreto Alto's goalkeeper Andrea Bassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Berardi. Dennis Castagna charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Castagna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Cerreto Alto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Castagna to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cerreto Alto's zone, Frank Berardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Bassi came out of the goal and Frank Berardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso De Laurentiis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Augusto Pinti notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cerreto Alto's Andrea Bassi. Andrea Bassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Berardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Bassi having to interfere. After 59 played minutes S.S.C.N. 1926 got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Pinti. Frank Berardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Gaudino got free with Fabiano Santini in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso De Laurentiis spun around in front of the goal 71 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of S.S.C.N. 1926's goal. Alfonso De Laurentiis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Augusto Pinti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrea Bassi. Cerreto Alto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Pinti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cerreto Alto's Andrea Bassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Pinti in the 81st minute of play. Andrea Bassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Pinti in the 83rd minute of play. Fabiano Santini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Gaudino in the 87th minute. Alfonso De Laurentiis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fabiano Santini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso De Laurentiis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Alvaro Porro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Cerreto Alto got a corner. S.S.C.N. 1926's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmine Di Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. S.S.C.N. 1926 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cerreto Alto for a fine match.
