Chiappa AFC were furious when Domenico Di Pietrantonio was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Chiappa AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vigo Meano:s goal. In the 10th minute Cristiano Delle Donne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Fini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comunardo Del Greco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Gori in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Vigo Meano's Davide Santucci got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Davide Santucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vigo Meano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Chiappa AFC's Comunardo Del Greco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Di Palma in the 30th minute of play. Chiappa AFC's Aurelio Di Girolamo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damiano Liberati, made in the 32nd minute of the game. After having played for 36 minutes, Aurelio Di Girolamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiappa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Di Girolamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Achille Contaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Fini having to interfere. Chiappa AFC's Cristiano Delle Donne got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Achille Contaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Contaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Di Palma made a kick off. Anselmo Di Palma hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Achille Contaldi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Florian Fini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiappa AFC. The supporters of Chiappa AFC booed when Vigo Meano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Santucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Chiappa AFC's Cristiano Delle Donne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Fini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Vigo Meano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Corelli to maneuver through the defense. Achille Contaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Fini having to interfere. Florian Fini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Delle Donne, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Davide Santucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vigo Meano's goalkeeper Florian Fini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Delle Donne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Florian Fini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Chiappa AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chiappa AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Vigo Meano were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
