Andrea Borromeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arrigo De Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Poggio Renatico got a freekick which was hit by Armin Bartolucci. Fausto Costanzo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Fausto Costanzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Rocco and the Poggio Renatico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to San Rocco getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fausto Costanzo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Elia Di Gregorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Rocco's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Di Gregorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo De Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrigo De Simone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Costanzo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bernardo Novella struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Alex Nobili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poggio Renatico. When Bernardo Novella came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Poggio Renatico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Novella couldn't finish the play. If Elia Di Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Elia Di Gregorio made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Poggio Renatico's Arrigo De Simone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Di Gregorio to make the kick off. Alex Nobili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novella in the 53rd minute of the match. Elia Di Gregorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo De Simone having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Poggio Renatico's Ermanno Boccanera got a free kick in the 57th minute. Alex Nobili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Mastrangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Andrea Borromeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Poggio Renatico getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Anthony Pagliarini hit a great ball. The long shot by Carter Castrucci in the 74th minute really tested Arrigo De Simone's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alex Nobili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Mastrangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Elia Di Gregorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo Novella made a precise shot to the right of Alex Nobili. San Rocco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Mastrangelo in the 86th minute of play forced San Rocco's goalkeeper Alex Nobili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes, Poggio Renatico's Anthony Pagliarini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Nobili came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poggio Renatico reached it. After a defensive mix-up in San Rocco's zone, Bernardo Novella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Nobili came out of the goal and Bernardo Novella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Borromeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Arrigo De Simone made a huge save. Alberigo Strano hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
