Domenico Brillante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Gelsomini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Ricciuti got free with Domenico Brillante in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Cristiano Brandolini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Due Sicilie and the Parodi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domenico Brillante came out of the goal and Davide Ricciuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristiano Brandolini came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Due Sicilie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Brandolini couldn't finish the play. Davide Ricciuti might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domenico Brillante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Ricciuti ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute of the match Concetto Tana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Brillante skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Davide Ricciuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Davide Ricciuti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match Concetto Tana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Brillante skillfully saved the ball. If Andrea Gelsomini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Due Sicilie's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Brandolini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Brillante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Emanuele Martinelli came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Parodi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Martinelli couldn't finish the play. Enzo Apicella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ceci having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Parodi's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Ricciuti came free, but Domenico Brillante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Gelsomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Due Sicilie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore De Angelis to maneuver through the defense.
