Emiliano Belfiore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Brillante having to interfere. Domenico Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Belfiore in the 40th minute of play. Enzo Apicella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dario Tornese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Belfiore to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sambruson's Ciro Tarulli got a free kick in the 57th minute. Emanuele Martinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dario Tornese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Martinelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Tornese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Martinelli ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emanuele Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Calabrese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Domenico Brillante made a huge save. Emanuele Martinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parodi's players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, Parodi's Emanuele Martinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Tornese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Alex Bulla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parodi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Bulla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sambruson's zone, Emanuele Martinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Tornese came out of the goal and Emanuele Martinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenico Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Belfiore in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
