Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Armando Di Mascio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Soprabolzano's Amedeo Grassi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amedeo Grassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camillo Scarinci having to make a save. Amedeo Grassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Camillo Scarinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Soprabolzano's Ercole Ciraci got control of the ball when Filippo Topatigh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Soprabolzano's Ercole Ciraci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Di Mascio in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Armando Di Mascio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ercole Ciraci. The goal made the score 1-0. Sesto San Giovanni's Camillo Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Grassi in the 35th minute of play. When Concetto Pardini fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soprabolzano's protests and gave Concetto Pardini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Concetto Pardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Filippo Topatigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Ciraci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amedeo Grassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Grassi made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Soprabolzano's Camillo Scarinci threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amedeo Grassi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Domenico Capobianco charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Capobianco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Sesto San Giovanni got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Capobianco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Di Mascio in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Ciraci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Soprabolzano's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Di Mascio came free, but Ercole Ciraci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sesto San Giovanni's Corrado Pallotta got a free kick in the 69th minute. Camillo Scarinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Galli in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute Filippo Topatigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Ciraci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camillo Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Grassi in the 85th minute of play. Cristiano Galli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. In the 96th match minute, Sesto San Giovanni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Pallotta to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Sesto San Giovanni's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Grassi came free, but Camillo Scarinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sesto San Giovanni could leave the field as winners, despite Soprabolzano having more of the ball for most of the match.
