Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrizio Fortunato started the match with the kick off. Alberto Marchesani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fabiano Petricca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alberto Marchesani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes in the game, Fabrizio Fortunato fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelo Tassotti having to interfere. Dino Russi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Angelo Tassotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Staglieno FC's zone, Fabrizio Fortunato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Tassotti came out of the goal and Fabrizio Fortunato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Tassotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Fortunato in the 24th minute of the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staglieno FC's goalkeeper Angelo Tassotti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Russi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Angelo Tassotti made a huge save. In the 39th match minute, Staglieno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Patricelli to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Dario Tuzzolino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Tassotti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Angelo Tassotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Fortunato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Fortunato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Marchesani to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cucciago's goalkeeper Fabiano Petricca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Marchesani. Fabrizio Fortunato kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fabiano Petricca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Coco in the 68th minute. The supporters of Staglieno FC booed when Cucciago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Zuccarini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staglieno FC's Angelo Tassotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Fortunato in the 75th minute of play. Cucciago's Dino Russi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cucciago's zone, Alberto Marchesani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Petricca came out of the goal and Alberto Marchesani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrizio Fortunato took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Tassotti. Angelo Tassotti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 87 minutes into the match, Staglieno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Fortunato came free, but Angelo Tassotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Marchesani fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staglieno FC's protests and gave Alberto Marchesani a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Marchesani hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Alberto Marchesani was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd match minute, Staglieno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Marchesani to maneuver through the defense. When Fabrizio Fortunato came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cucciago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Fortunato couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cucciago had won after a very even match.
