One of PULCINI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Taleacotium:s goal. PULCINI:s Alessandro Di Gaetano showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Carlini:s penalty. The excitement rose when Taleacotium's Angelo Carlini after 6 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for PULCINI's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Ciro Melfi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alessandro Di Gaetano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessandro Di Gaetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Belfiore, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Carlo Cappucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taleacotium and the PULCINI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PULCINI booed when Taleacotium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Cappucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Alonso Solis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Lo Iacono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Di Gaetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Belfiore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PULCINI's Alessandro Di Gaetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Teti in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Carlo Cappucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Di Gaetano. PULCINI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Cappucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alessandro Di Gaetano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Melfi went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Belfiore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Taleacotium's Armando Mauro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alessandro Di Gaetano. Alessandro Di Gaetano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Ciro Melfi came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alessandro Di Gaetano could save by the left post. A collision led to Taleacotium getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Carlo Belfiore hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, PULCINI's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Teti came free, but Alessandro Di Gaetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Melfi got free with Alessandro Di Gaetano in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Taleacotium booed when PULCINI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Anastasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes, Taleacotium's Angelo Carlini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessandro Di Gaetano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taleacotium reached it. Ciro Melfi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alessandro Di Gaetano made a huge save. Feliks Pilsudski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonso Solis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Franceschelli hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ciro Lo Iacono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Scutti in the 81st minute of play. Alessandro Di Gaetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Melfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carlo Belfiore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Di Gaetano was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Carlo Belfiore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonso Solis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Lo Iacono having to interfere. Taleacotium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
