In the 14th minute, Fortunato Quattrocchi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Lapanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Concetto Macchione cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Barchiesi to make the kick off. Camillo Trinca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Quattrocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletico Lapanza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
