A collision led to Stella Nera getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Antonello Matteucci hit a great ball. Gong Ran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Marsilio having to interfere. When Diego Graziani fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guzzano's protests and gave Diego Graziani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Guzzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Graziani to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guzzano's Cristoforo Guerra got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Bart Van Eijken got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 20 played minutes Stella Nera got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice De Block. Alessandro Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Palladino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Gong Ran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guzzano and the Stella Nera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gong Ran hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Diego Graziani hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Guzzano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Bart Van Eijken scored to the left of an out of position Fausto Maestri, making the score, 2-0. Alessio Taccone succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Alessandro Marsilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Palladino in the 47th minute of the match. Gong Ran took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Marsilio. Alessandro Marsilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gong Ran made the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Marsilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Palladino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Davide Molinario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guzzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Molinario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Marsilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stella Nera's Alessandro Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Stella Nera from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Andrea Palladino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Marsilio. Andrea Palladino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 72nd minute, Davide Molinario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guzzano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 77 minutes into the game, Fabrice De Block was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stella Nera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guzzano the free kick. Fabrice De Block kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Stella Nera's Alessandro Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Stella Nera from getting a goal against them. Cesare Panza scored 2-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Marsilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Davide Molinario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Stella Nera's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Palladino came free, but Alessandro Marsilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davide Molinario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Guzzano's Andrea Palladino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. When the final whistle sounded Guzzano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stella Nera.
