Fabio Colaneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Gorla Minore got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Pozzo. Rodrigo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Majer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Dino Del Bello put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Colaneri. The audience was convinced that Dino Del Bello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Colaneri was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amos Bellomo was the one to do the kick off. Carlo Miccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Gorla Minore's zone, Amos Bellomo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Colaneri came out of the goal and Amos Bellomo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Colaneri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Miccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fabio Colaneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Bellomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Scarinci came free, but Rodrigo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlo Miccio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Miccio couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Gorla Minore's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Bellomo came free, but Fabio Colaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Fabio Colaneri threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlo Miccio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Gaetano Scirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Amos Bellomo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Bellomo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Erik Majer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Gaspard. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Majer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
