A collision led to Dinamo Pécs FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pál Csákvári hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC.ATLETRIKÓ defense, Mátyás Fitos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dénes Pál. The FC.ATLETRIKÓ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dénes Pál should have stopped the shot. Alex Bencik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Barta having to interfere. Dénes Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Fitos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 39th minute Pál Csákvári shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dénes Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC.ATLETRIKÓ booed when Dinamo Pécs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szilárd Szabó didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Dinamo Pécs FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olivér Hudák to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Barta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivér Hudák in the 53rd minute of play. Dénes Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mátyás Fitos in the 55th minute of play. Alex Bencik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erik Barta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Bencik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC.ATLETRIKÓ manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dinamo Pécs FC to win.
