Zsira TC's Szabolcs Kádár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Szőnyi in the 14th minute of play. Ákos Fenyvesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Csorba in the 19th minute of play. The Galgaguta VTK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Galgaguta VTK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bulcsú Bodnár hit a great ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Levente Dárdai made the kick off in the second half. Zsira TC's György Dudás got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dániel Dávid during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galgaguta VTK's Dániel Dávid got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Zsira TC booed when Galgaguta VTK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulcsú Bodnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling János Szőnyi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szabolcs Kádár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Galgaguta VTK's János Szőnyi in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zsira TC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that János Szőnyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szabolcs Kádár was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Galgaguta VTK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Zsira TC had controlled the match.
