The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Kun in the 5th minute of play forced Szalai Football Club's goalkeeper Soma Puskás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that András Szalontai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soma Puskás was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Kun in the 7th minute of play forced Szalai Football Club's goalkeeper Soma Puskás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Balázs Kun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Soma Puskás was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Söréd ETO booed when Szalai Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leó Rácz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes, Leó Rácz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szalai Football Club and the Söréd ETO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Szalai Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Leó Rácz. Söréd ETO's Balázs Hujber couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Szalai Football Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Bolla in the 18th minute of play forced Söréd ETO's goalkeeper Henrik Gelencsér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by András Szalontai in the 21st minute of play forced Szalai Football Club's goalkeeper Soma Puskás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantin Buzánszki charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Buzánszki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Szalai Football Club booed when Söréd ETO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Buzánszki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When László Bolla came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Szalai Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Bolla couldn't finish the play. Gusztáv Bodnár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Henrik Gelencsér made a huge save. In the 38th minute, András Szalontai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soma Puskás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Soma Puskás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from András Szalontai in the 42nd minute of the match. István Bencsik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a little luck, Szalai Football Club's Soma Puskás got control of the ball when András Szalontai tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Söréd ETO's Soma Puskás threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Balázs Kun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Henrik Gelencsér came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Szalai Football Club's László Bolla. But to his dismay, László Bolla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that László Bolla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Gelencsér was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Balázs Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. András Szalontai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Soma Puskás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Balázs Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söréd ETO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Kun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. László Bolla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Henrik Gelencsér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. András Szalontai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If András Szalontai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Szalai Football Club getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Leó Rácz hit a great ball. Soma Puskás was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Balázs Hujber.
