Kristóf Rózsa hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Géza Révész made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Dobos in the 7th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Róbert Nyilasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Mailand and the Zebegény Garvittax players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Mailand's Róbert Nyilasi got a free kick in the 7th minute. Géza Révész showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferenc Dobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Dobos in the 13th minute of play forced AC Mailand's goalkeeper Géza Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabás Pollák in the 18th minute of play forced Zebegény Garvittax's goalkeeper Vilmos Gulyás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Géza Révész took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Dobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vilmos Petres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Géza Révész made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoltán Kántor in the 34th minute. Kornél Zakariás's late challenge caught a Zebegény Garvittax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kornél Zakariás helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Kántor got free with Géza Révész in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Géza Révész showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Dobos in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferenc Dobos was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Barnabás Pollák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilmos Gulyás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, AC Mailand's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Dobos came free, but Géza Révész reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Mailand's Barnabás Pollák got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Barnabás Pollák came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the AC Mailand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnabás Pollák couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Dobos in the 75th minute of play forced AC Mailand's goalkeeper Géza Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ferenc Dobos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zebegény Garvittax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Árpád Fülöp kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
