In the 8thth minute of the game Gergely Madaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várbalog AC's Levente Szabó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attila Sámuel hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gergely Madaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magyartelek OSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Madaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levente Szabó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gergely Madaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levente Szabó was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Zsombor Dudás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes, Magyartelek OSE's Adrián Kalmár shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Levente Szabó came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magyartelek OSE reached it. After a rather tough play, Várbalog AC's Attila Sámuel got a free kick in the 40th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gergely Madaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Csányi couldn't finish the play. Zsombor Dudás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Csapó having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Szőke in the 90th minute of play forced Magyartelek OSE's goalkeeper Zsolt Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Sámuel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Levente Szabó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gergely Madaras in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Várbalog AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Magyartelek OSE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
