With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miklós Polgár in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sándor Mátyás saved Bükkszentmárton SC from getting behind. If Norbert Szép had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miklós Polgár took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sándor Mátyás. Sándor Mátyás dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Miklós Polgár came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bihartorda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Polgár couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bükkszentmárton SC's goalkeeper Sándor Mátyás, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kálmán Pádár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bükkszentmárton SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kálmán Pádár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Árpád Benke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihály Szűcs's late challenge caught a Bükkszentmárton SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihály Szűcs helped the player get up and apologised. Kálmán Pádár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Árpád Benke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zoltán Edelényi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bükkszentmárton SC's protests and gave Zoltán Edelényi a yellow card for diving instead. Zoltán Edelényi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Miklós Polgár might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sándor Mátyás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miklós Polgár ran back to his position shaking his head. Sándor Mátyás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Szép in the 37th minute of play. Miklós Polgár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Mátyás having to interfere. Norbert Szép sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Endre Mónos was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Norbert Szép managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bihartorda's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Szép was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sándor Mátyás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Illés Fülep was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bihartorda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bükkszentmárton SC the free kick. The supporters of Bükkszentmárton SC booed when Bihartorda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illés Fülep didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Bihartorda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richárd Virágh to maneuver through the defense. Árpád Benke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Endre Mónos's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Sándor Mátyás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miklós Polgár's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Miklós Polgár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Mátyás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sándor Mátyás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Polgár, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Norbert Szép sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norbert Szép's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sándor Mátyás read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Bihartorda's Mihály Szűcs got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Mihály Szűcs off the ground. Mihály Szűcs kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Endre Mónos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bükkszentmárton SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bihartorda the free kick. A collision led to Bükkszentmárton SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Endre Mónos hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Bihartorda's Norbert Szép made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sándor Mátyás was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Endre Mónos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bihartorda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
