Levente Bacsó made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Béla Sebestyén sent off a good shot on target. Bálint Szakál might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kálmán Sipos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bálint Szakál ran back to his position shaking his head. AFC Monsters's Kálmán Sipos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bálint Szakál in the 13th minute of play. Kapoly's Levente Bacsó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Király in the 17th minute of play. Kálmán Sipos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Csaba Nyitrai went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Levente Bacsó made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Béla Sebestyén sent off a good shot on target. Kálmán Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Nyitrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Csaba Nyitrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kálmán Sipos having to interfere. In the 34th minute Csaba Nyitrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kálmán Sipos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imre Dobránszky kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. AFC Monsters's Béla Sebestyén got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Levente Bacsó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Béla Sebestyén in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bálint Szakál to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Csaba Nyitrai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kálmán Sipos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bálint Szakál had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Sándor Bognár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Monsters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kapoly the free kick. In the 61stth minute of the game Zsolt Király who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kapoly's Levente Bacsó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Béla Sebestyén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Béla Sebestyén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zsolt Király sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bálint Szakál sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Monsters's Sándor Bognár got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Sándor Bognár off the ground. After 84 played minutes AFC Monsters got a freekick which was hit by Sándor Bognár. 85 minutes into the match, AFC Monsters's goal looked a bit too open when Bálint Szakál came free, but Kálmán Sipos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes AFC Monsters got a freekick which was hit by Márk Rigó. Bálint Szakál struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kálmán Sipos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapoly. Bálint Szakál had several of the AFC Monsters's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Kálmán Sipos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Csaba Nyitrai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kálmán Sipos made a huge save. The Kapoly supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kapoly would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
