Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balázs Kolozsvári to make the kick off. Endre Tóth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantin Puskás in the 91st minute. After 91 minutes of play LSE's Adorján Balla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to LSE getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adorján Balla hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Róbert Bíró's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Endre Tóth was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Despite being the better team, LSE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
