Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Attila Sass kicked off to start the match. Alex Vörös's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ákos Kalmár read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Botpalád's Alex Vörös nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ákos Kalmár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Vörös came free, but Ákos Kalmár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. László Zakariás's late challenge caught a Diósgyőri FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. László Zakariás helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the game, Attila Sass was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botpalád's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diósgyőri FC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Botpalád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Sass to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, Botpalád's Alex Vörös made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ákos Kalmár was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diósgyőri FC's Ákos Kalmár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Sass in the 30th minute of play. János Jászberényi's late challenge caught a Botpalád's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. János Jászberényi helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Diósgyőri FC got a freekick which was hit by János Jászberényi. Botpalád's Alex Vörös got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ákos Kalmár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Sass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Diósgyőri FC's zone, Alex Vörös stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ákos Kalmár came out of the goal and Alex Vörös tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Sass in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ákos Kalmár saved Diósgyőri FC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Attila Sass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ákos Kalmár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Botpalád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Sass to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Sass came free, but Ákos Kalmár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

61 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri FC's goalkeeper Ákos Kalmár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Vörös. Alex Vörös scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ákos Kalmár, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alex Vörös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Attila Sass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botpalád fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After a rather tough play, Botpalád's Máté Szántó got a free kick in the 71st minute. Botpalád's Ákos Kerékgyártó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by István Rácz in the 72nd minute of play. Attila Sass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ákos Kalmár having to make a save. Alex Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ákos Kalmár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ákos Kerékgyártó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Németh, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. István Rácz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ákos Kerékgyártó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attila Sass in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ákos Kalmár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Botpalád's goal looked a bit too open when István Rácz came free, but Ákos Kerékgyártó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes, Krisztián Kutas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diósgyőri FC and the Botpalád players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Krisztián Kutas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Vörös got free with Ákos Kalmár in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. János Jászberényi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ákos Kalmár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Vörös in the 95th minute of play. Botpalád played a much better game than Diósgyőri FC and deserved their victory. The Diósgyőri FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
