In the 19thth minute of the game Csaba Herczegh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Vén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Herczegh in the 21st minute of play. Ádám Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sárospatak's Tihamér Vígh couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Putnok VSE. In the 35thth minute of the game Csaba Káposztás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ádám Barna hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Csaba Herczegh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Viktor Vén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andor Sárosi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Herczegh in the 45th minute of play forced Putnok VSE's goalkeeper Viktor Vén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, János Kiss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Putnok VSE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sárospatak were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ádám Barna made a kick off. Viktor Vén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csaba Herczegh in the 53rd minute of the match. Andor Sárosi was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Putnok VSE getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Andor Sárosi hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Sárospatak got a freekick which was hit by János Kiss. Viktor Vén was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Csaba Herczegh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Csaba Herczegh really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 62 minutes into the game, Attila Polgár threw the ball into play from the sideline. Putnok VSE's Ádám Barna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Viktor Vén managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Sárospatak's Csaba Káposztás fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Csaba Herczegh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Csaba Káposztás could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Viktor Vén however easily saved by the left post. Viktor Vén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csaba Herczegh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Sárospatak's Csaba Káposztás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktor Vén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Csaba Káposztás's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Viktor Vén skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sárospatak's Csaba Káposztás came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Viktor Vén had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Herczegh in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Csaba Káposztás made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Attila Polgár made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Putnok VSE's Ádám Barna. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Csaba Herczegh in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Vén prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
