Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Máté Forgács started the match with the kick off. If Károly Soós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Kásás in the 8th minute of play forced San Jose Sharks's goalkeeper Sámuel Simicska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Levente Gerencsér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Kutas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krisztián Kásás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sámuel Simicska tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ádám Végh in the 16th minute of play forced San Jose Sharks's goalkeeper Sámuel Simicska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, San Jose Sharks's Máté Forgács nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krisztián Kutas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Károly Soós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. András Páncsics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sámuel Simicska having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, San Jose Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lóránt Pusztai to maneuver through the defense. Sámuel Simicska took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from András Páncsics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ádám Végh to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Lone Wolfs got a freekick which was hit by András Páncsics. László Sári kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Lóránt Pusztai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamás Hatvani kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sámuel Simicska showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ádám Végh in the 63rd minute of the match. Ádám Végh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sámuel Simicska made a huge save. Tamás Hatvani kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ádám Végh managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lone Wolfs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ádám Végh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sámuel Simicska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Jose Sharks's Sámuel Simicska proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save San Jose Sharks from getting a goal against them. In the 71st match minute, San Jose Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Hatvani to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match, Adrián Lázár tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sámuel Simicska saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the match, FC Lone Wolfs's Henrik Grósz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sámuel Simicska narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrián Lázár received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sámuel Simicska came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Lázár slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. Ádám Végh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sámuel Simicska tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Lone Wolfs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
