If Károly Kocsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihály Sáfár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Kocsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Zsivány FC's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Kocsis came free, but Mihály Sáfár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Károly Kocsis in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihály Sáfár saved Zsivány FC from getting behind. The Tolna VFC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Tolna VFC's Károly Kocsis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 10 minutes, Károly Kocsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolna VFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Kocsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihály Sáfár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Kocsis in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Zsivány FC got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Kolompár. If Károly Kocsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Károly Kocsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mihály Sáfár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kant Spel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tolna VFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kant Spel couldn't finish the play. When Károly Kocsis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tolna VFC's protests and gave Károly Kocsis a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Tolna VFC got a freekick which was hit by Károly Kocsis. A collision led to Tolna VFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Miklós Forgács hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Péter in the 26th minute of play forced Tolna VFC's goalkeeper Csongor Herman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolna VFC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Zsivány FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Géza Lovász took the corner. In the 31st minute, Károly Kocsis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Zsivány FC's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Kocsis came free, but Mihály Sáfár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zsivány FC's zone, Károly Kocsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihály Sáfár came out of the goal and Károly Kocsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zsolt Kolompár made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roland Bencik however managed to control. Miklós Forgács's late challenge caught a Zsivány FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miklós Forgács helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zsivány FC booed when Tolna VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Forgács didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes, Zsivány FC's Attila Péter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Csongor Herman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zsivány FC reached it. In the 44th minute, Károly Kocsis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Károly Kocsis to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Zsivány FC's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Kocsis came free, but Mihály Sáfár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihály Sáfár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Kocsis in the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Károly Kocsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Sáfár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Tolna VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Hollósi came free, but Csongor Herman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tolna VFC booed when Zsivány FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Kolompár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Károly Kocsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolna VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Kocsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihály Sáfár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Kocsis in the 83rd minute of play forced Zsivány FC's goalkeeper Mihály Sáfár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Károly Kocsis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mihály Sáfár saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mihály Sáfár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Kocsis in the 86th minute of play. Károly Kocsis might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihály Sáfár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Károly Kocsis ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Zsivány FC's Mihály Sáfár got control of the ball when Károly Kocsis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balázs Hollósi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Károly Kocsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebestyén Szőnyi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tolna VFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
