Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mümtazer Sarvan kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Southampton U23 booed when Team Schell fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rómeó Lázár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Team Schell fc got a freekick which was hit by Rómeó Lázár. Lukács Vincze had several of the Southampton U23's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Lajos Lantos as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Ádám Sallói fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Schell fc's protests and gave Ádám Sallói a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Ádám Sallói hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Team Schell fc's zone, Mümtazer Sarvan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Géza Rigó came out of the goal and Mümtazer Sarvan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Southampton U23's Lajos Lantos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Southampton U23 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukács Vincze in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Lantos saved Southampton U23 from getting behind. Almiro Queiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Southampton U23's goalkeeper Lajos Lantos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by István Gere. Almiro Queiroga struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Géza Rigó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southampton U23. Tibor Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lajos Lantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. István Gere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lajos Lantos made a huge save. Southampton U23's Lajos Lantos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Kaiser in the 40th minute of play. István Gere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lajos Lantos having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for István Gere to strike the kick off in the second half. Lajos Lantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Kaiser in the 52nd minute of the match. When Team Schell fc's István Gere in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Southampton U23's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute Tibor Kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Lantos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Almiro Queiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Géza Rigó was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, one of Southampton U23:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Southampton U23. Lajos Lantos had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Lukács Vincze's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Southampton U23's goal looked a bit too open when István Gere came free, but Lajos Lantos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Géza Rigó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mümtazer Sarvan in the 73rd minute of the match. Géza Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtazer Sarvan in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtazer Sarvan in the 89th minute of play forced Team Schell fc's goalkeeper Géza Rigó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ádám Sallói hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Team Schell fc's Géza Rigó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Team Schell fc from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Southampton U23's Aivar Lipp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Géza Rigó. Géza Rigó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Mümtazer Sarvan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southampton U23's supporters rose to their feet, but Mümtazer Sarvan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Géza Rigó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
