Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Szamosújlak's Milán Dárdai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Benedek Kozma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milán Dárdai's late challenge caught a Villam Gepard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milán Dárdai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Szamosújlak getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Milán Dárdai hit a great ball. Benedek Kozma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Álmos Kiss made a huge save. In the 11th minute Milán Dárdai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Neuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pete Neuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milán Dárdai in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Szamosújlak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Irmai to maneuver through the defense. Álmos Kiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Czene in the 21st minute of play. If Zoltán Rákosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Villam Gepard FC's Pete Neuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Kis in the 23rd minute of play. Béla Kis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Villam Gepard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milán Dárdai came free, but Pete Neuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milán Dárdai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milán Dárdai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Neuss having to interfere. Pete Neuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milán Dárdai in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Károly Czene was the one to do the kick off. Milán Dárdai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Koppány Varga fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villam Gepard FC's protests and gave Koppány Varga a yellow card for diving instead. Villam Gepard FC's Pete Neuss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Villam Gepard FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Villam Gepard FC's János Radics got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Milán Dárdai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Lajos Kenesei from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Pete Neuss's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Károly Czene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pete Neuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milán Dárdai in the 70th minute of the match. When Milán Dárdai came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Szamosújlak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milán Dárdai couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes Villam Gepard FC got a freekick which was hit by Koppány Varga. Szamosújlak's Pál Horváth shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pete Neuss but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Károly Czene managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villam Gepard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Czene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álmos Kiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pete Neuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milán Dárdai, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pete Neuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milán Dárdai in the 91st minute of play.
