The supporters of Donji Miholjac booed when Konjščina Dilj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dubravko Katanec didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vlaho Jeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konjščina Dilj's Matija Belonjek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Jamičić in the 91st minute of play. Matija Belonjek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlaho Jeras, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Although Donji Miholjac had been in control for most of the match, Konjščina Dilj still came away with the win.
