Barcelona's Severin Buljan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Musulin in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Crazy Ducks's Frano Svilan got control of the ball when Stojko Šarić tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barcelona booed when FC Crazy Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakša Kalaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Crazy Ducks's Frano Svilan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Crazy Ducks from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Musulin in the 35th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Severin Buljan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dobroslav Macan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobroslav Macan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Blaž Ruklić managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Crazy Ducks's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaž Ruklić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severin Buljan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Musulin was the one to do the kick off. Frano Svilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stojko Šarić in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Barcelona's Severin Buljan got control of the ball when Blaž Ruklić tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Barcelona's Dobroslav Macan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frano Svilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, FC Crazy Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Dobroslav Macan came free, but Frano Svilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stojko Šarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Dobroslav Macan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frano Svilan. FC Crazy Ducks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobroslav Macan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 78th minute, Nikola Radečić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Alen Vida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frano Svilan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frano Svilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobroslav Macan in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jadranko Orlić during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute of the match Alen Vida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frano Svilan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gradimir Tošić hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Dobroslav Macan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frano Svilan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. FC Crazy Ducks's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
