Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franko Baranović started the match with the kick off. Mladen Škorput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grubišno Polje Neretva getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Josip Jurković hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Severin Marinković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petar Seko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mladen Škorput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Seko having to interfere. Začretje's Miro Gamberožić got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mladen Škorput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mladen Škorput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Seko having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franko Baranović in the 38th minute of play forced Grubišno Polje Neretva's goalkeeper Davor Vedrina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miro Gamberožić got free with Davor Vedrina in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Rakamarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Vedrina having to interfere. A collision led to Grubišno Polje Neretva getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mladen Škorput hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severin Marinković made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Nikola Hozjak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Začretje and the Grubišno Polje Neretva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikola Hozjak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Vedrina having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Začretje's Milan Sušac got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Začretje's goal looked a bit too open when Severin Marinković came free, but Petar Seko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davor Vedrina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franko Baranović in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Začretje were awarded a corner. Milan Sušac went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 76th minute, Franko Baranović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Začretje's zone, Mladen Škorput stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petar Seko came out of the goal and Mladen Škorput tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Severin Marinković recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petar Seko. Severin Marinković showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Franko Baranović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Davor Vedrina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miro Gamberožić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
