The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gradište Mosor! In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Križevci Naprijed's goalkeeper Stanimir Prlić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leopold Brnović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stanimir Prlić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ozren Mlačak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanimir Prlić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. When Leopold Brnović fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gradište Mosor's protests and gave Leopold Brnović a yellow card for diving instead. Leopold Brnović hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gradište Mosor's Ozren Mlačak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanimir Prlić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ozren Mlačak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Stanimir Prlić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Eugen Pandurević was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Križevci Naprijed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gradište Mosor the free kick. In the 36th minute, Eugen Pandurević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42ndth minute of the game Đuro Mohorović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gradište Mosor's Stipe Dulčić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Križevci Naprijed booed when Gradište Mosor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Brnović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Križevci Naprijed's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Brnović came free, but Stanimir Prlić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ozren Mlačak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stanimir Prlić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanimir Prlić made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ozren Mlačak sent off a good shot on target. Križevci Naprijed's Leo Jelinčić pulled a muscle in his leg after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Saša Žurić fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gradište Mosor's protests and gave Saša Žurić a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gradište Mosor's zone, Borko Benjak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stipe Dulčić came out of the goal and Borko Benjak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Šimun Kajp was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute Borko Benjak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stipe Dulčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borko Benjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ozren Mlačak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Stanimir Prlić made a huge save. The Gradište Mosor players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Križevci Naprijed from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
