Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alen Bosanac made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ostoja Peroković in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihovil Jakiša prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zvonko Grmačka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maksim Hajni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Zvonko Grmačka made a precise shot to the right of Maksim Hajni. Novi Vinodolski Vitez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zvonko Grmačka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maksim Hajni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ostoja Peroković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihovil Jakiša having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Gradina United got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Stopnišek. After 29 minutes, Jure Čavlović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novi Vinodolski Vitez and the Gradina United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Novi Vinodolski Vitez! Davor Rubčić walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Alen Bosanac scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihovil Jakiša, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Novi Vinodolski Vitez getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alen Bosanac hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Sandi Mušić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihovil Jakiša showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Novi Vinodolski Vitez's Ostoja Peroković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihovil Jakiša narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Zvonko Grmačka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksim Hajni having to interfere. Maksim Hajni came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Gradina United's Emilijan Jambrišak. But to his dismay, Emilijan Jambrišak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ostoja Peroković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Gradina United got a freekick which was hit by Držislav Josipović. Maksim Hajni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilijan Jambrišak, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ostoja Peroković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alen Bosanac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihovil Jakiša having to interfere. If Zvonko Grmačka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arijan Ležaić's late challenge caught a Gradina United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arijan Ležaić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Novi Vinodolski Vitez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arijan Ležaić to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Novi Vinodolski Vitez's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonko Grmačka came free, but Maksim Hajni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilijan Jambrišak in the 85th minute of play forced Novi Vinodolski Vitez's goalkeeper Maksim Hajni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilijan Jambrišak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Novi Vinodolski Vitez players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
