Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nino Nemčić started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Sergej Supičić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žarko Švagel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Miroslav Brečak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Maračić in the 22nd minute of play forced Virovitica's goalkeeper Tvrtko Vidaković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Žarko Švagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Brečak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sergej Supičić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fužine Sokol's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergej Supičić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tvrtko Vidaković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Virovitica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Đino Dojkić hit a great ball. The supporters of Fužine Sokol booed when Virovitica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Želimir Muić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sergej Supičić came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fužine Sokol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergej Supičić couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Fužine Sokol's Benjamin Maračić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tvrtko Vidaković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergej Supičić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tvrtko Vidaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslav Brečak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Žarko Švagel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benjamin Maračić made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Želimir Muić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Virovitica's goalkeeper Tvrtko Vidaković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fužine Sokol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Žarko Švagel scored to the left of an out of position Miroslav Brečak, making the score, 1-1. Benjamin Maračić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergej Supičić succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Ivica Mardešić fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fužine Sokol's protests and gave Ivica Mardešić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fužine Sokol getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ivica Mardešić hit a great ball. Miroslav Brečak made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Žarko Švagel sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Fužine Sokol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivica Mardešić to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Sergej Supičić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 3-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Benjamin Maračić elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
